Working of naps:
It is a complicated process and it comprises of several stages:
Stage 1: fall asleep
Stage 2: slow down of the brain.
Stage3 and 4: deep sleep.
Stage 5: rapid eye movement.
Stage 1 lasts for about 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes covered by step 2. So a nap of 20 minutes covered by most of the people. You have some different timing of naps, but try with that timing that suits you the best.
